Mark Ferrie and Ross Hannaford
Although their names may be more familiar from the
pop successes of Daddy Cool and the Models, the passionate electric
guitar playing of Ross Hannaford and the original 'roots' based
songs of Mark Ferrie both result from a lifetime's commitment
to live performance.
Since becoming neighbours in Melbourne's inner west
a couple of years ago, the duo has performed regularly, creating
a kinetic musical style that is equally spirited, spontaneous
and impressively crafted.
Check them out playing blues, hillbilly, instrumentals,
originals and whatever else takes their fancy at the Cornish Arms,
Sydney Rd, Brunswick on Sunday 10, 17 and 24 November from 4.30pm.
