Valerie Kirwan
Valerie Kirwan was La Mama Theatre's first Playwright-In-Residence and her
novel, The Will To Fall, (Penguin Books) was on the twelve top best seller
lists in its first year of publication. Her latest book Lovers & Losers of
the Last Century, published by Indra Publishers, was nominated for The
Victorian Premier's Award in 2001. Indra will release her sixth book,
Taking A Fool To Paradise in 2003. Her current short stories have appeared
in such anthologies as Island, Imago, Masthead and New England Review. She
has received three literary awards including The Jim Hamilton Award from The
Fellowship of Australian Writers.
Jan Crosby
Jan is one of the founders of The Hornets Nest Literary & Publishing Group.
Jan, who usually works as an editor and critic, will be reading an excerpt
from the novel, The Moon is Bloodshot, by Valerie Kirwan.
David Demant
David has always been interested in the communication of ideas and
knowledge. He feels that the best way for people to learn even the most
complex ideas are through stories that tap into their emotional and spiritual
selves. It is the person who tells or writes such stories who will stimulate
and inspire people to learn. At the same time, conceptual doors open so learners can voluntarily enter the spaces where they explore new things in their own
way and in their own time. David works as a curator at Museum Victoria. he
has published several books, mainly informational. His last published work
was a children's book - The First Computer Mouse - a fantasy book about
Australia's first computer.

Author of Keeva, a science fiction novel, published by Minerva
Press, RT Hag has also various assorted short stories of various genres under his belt.
